The Oktoberfest Chattanooga Challenge pairs an amazing bike ride with the best beer festival in the Southeast, making October 13-14 the perfect weekend to cap off the cycling season! Choose between a full 100-mile century or a 50-mile half-century and see why Chattanooga is the Cycling Capital of the East!
Both routes include the signature climb up Chattanooga’s iconic Lookout Mountain (on a traffic-free closed road!), beautiful views, gorgeous valley rides, and fun descents!
Registration runs between $40 and $60,depending on when you register, with food, beer, t-shirt, bottle, and other benefits & swag included!
You’ll have access to plenty of well-stocked rest stops (thanks to REI Chattanooga!) plus professional SAG support from REI Chattanooga, Cycle Sport , and Velo View Bike Tours.
The registration fee includes tickets for post-ride food (including a vegetarian option) and a couple of beers at Oktoberfest!
There’s plenty of parking at Finley Stadium where we’ll start and finish the ride. And your registration includes the parking fee!
While there are no guarantees when it comes to Mother Nature, October is historically Chattanooga’s driest monthand generally offers cool mornings and perfect afternoons with average high temps in the low 70’s!
